- At Ooni, we’ve made a few batches of dough in our time. But the mixing experience we got from using other domestic stand mixers left us frustrated. The dough simply wouldn’t mix properly. It got clumpy and stuck to the dough hook. The dough overheated. The mixers couldn’t handle higher volumes, they would simply burn out. It impacted the quality of the dough, and we knew that a higher standard was possible.
- The professional bakers and pizza makers we worked with in developing our pizza ovens were not using the standard planetary stand mixers that you find in most homes.
